I am privileged to have joined the faculty at Normandale Community College in 2011/2012.  I teach simulation clinicals.

Previously, I taught for 3 years at Inver Hills Community College.  In conjunction with my colleague from Century College, I started the simulation clinical program and ran it at Inver Hills for 2 years.  Then I taught Maternal/Child Nursing classroom along with clinicals at Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury, MN.

My career in nursing began as a LPN when I graduated from a community college in 1994.  I then worked in nursing while continuing my education to an Associate Degree RN through to a Masters Degree in Nursing focusing on Midwifery in 2003.  As an LPN and RN, I have 10 years of combined experience in couplet care, labor and delivery, high-risk OB, outpatient maternity, and home care.  In addition, I have 4 years of experience as a Certified Nurse-Midwife.
